Every race and ethnicity enslaved other races and ethnicities at one time or another. Some religions did as well; the Barbary Pirates (Muslims) enslaved more whites than this nation enslaved blacks.

The only solutions to this are (1) shame every race, and ethnicity because they are all complicity in slavery and have all benefited from it, and (2) have each race and ethnicity pay reparations to every other race and ethnicity.

Then everyone who benefited from slavery will have paid everyone who suffered from it.

And everyone will be in exactly the same position they are in now.

The majority of blacks in this country come from Angola and Congo where many tribes were beat by a bigger African tribe who then enslaved them for many years before the white's went over there in the 1500's and started buying them or trading goods with the African slave owners. The blacks then went to Brazil, and the Carribean and of course here. Was it right? No. Was it based on greed? Yes.
