Maybe they are so pissed that Trump is pulling U.S. funds from the WHO that they are falsely telling people masks don't work so that Americans don't wear them, get COVID-19 and die. That's my conspiracy theory for the day.

They have now gotten her to “walk back her statement.” Except in attempting to retract it she can’t point to any science to suggest her initial claim was incorrect.

You know that virus we’ve studied for 7 months and shut down the world for 4 months? We haven’t found any cases where asymptomatic people have spread it and almost none where it spread outside... but in an abundance of caution freak the fuck out if someone walks past you on the sidewalk without a mask.
