Anybody else having problems with very slow refunds from Marriott cancellations? They say it can take up to 90 DAYS. They are swamped and can't keep up. So they get to keep your money for 90 days? I am waiting on $800. How can this even be legal?

Marriott has a well established way of finance. They demand payment immediately but delay for a minimum 45 days to pay bills. Many companies wouldn’t do business with Marriott due to having to fight for payment on services rendered or purchases.
Good luck at getting your reimbursement. They will try to have you take other considerations, first.

First we had no say whatsoever in the distance learning - we told them they didn’t listen.
Second those people are getting raises in the fall - only teachers were cut. IA’s are getting a large raise as are bus drivers.

Read the budget update.
Great language by the way - must be an FCPS grad....

Had to cancel a trip to Boston. Was going to stay at a Marriott. Even though it was a non-refundable reservation, a call to the property took care of things and I had a refund back to my card in 5 days.

It’s good to be white.

I am white, and I called the hotels directly. No luck. They are robbing Peter to pay Paul right now. Reached out to corporate but they are the ones setting the 90 day policy. Also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Will also reach out to OAG consumer complaint office.

I travel a lot and am a member of their Bonvoy program. It’s good to be Gold also.

Life lesson, always travel with your American Express card. If you charge anything on it and you are dissatisfied for any reason one call to American Express and the issue is resolved in a couple hours. Works every time.

I am also Gold. Just heard back from Customer Service and they are going to call the properties and push. I told them this was crap.
