Education achievement gap during shutdown

As students in under performing schools no longer attend under funded schools with teachers who over discipline and instead they are taught at home by their parent(s) do we think the education achievement gap is going to start lessening?

Or... does the disparity in home life exceed the disparity in schools and the education gap expands the longer we are shut down?
