Invest in a bidet. Worth it. You wouldn’t just use toilet paper to wipe shit off your arm, you’d use soap or something. So why not do it for your ass? I usually feel better, and my wife even gives me the occasional rimjob! Win win situation in all.

I use the Washington Post (compost). It works great. Wiping ass is the only thing it is good for except maybe picking up dog shit with it.

Nobody has a designated hand. Asswiping doesn't exactly require much fine motor skill. Most people use whatever hand is most convenient. Whatever side of the toilet the paper is hanging on is a factor as well.
