Fireworks Stands In Fairfax - Where Are They?

Anyone know where those big yellow fireworks container / stands are located in Fairfax? I went by the Oakton Giant where they set up last year and it's no longer there. Has Fairfax County cracked down or something?

pretty much, the stuff they sell around here are for children. overblown sparklers and whistle blowers. better than nothing if you have kids and didn't make a run up to Phantom.

Phantom is a rip-off. There are other places to go in MD and PA, where you can get twice or three times as much for your money.

I would not do that tomorrow. funny part is they will sell you the product with a VA drivers license. the state police wait for you to leave and bust you for illegal fireworks transportation. This is rare but it does happen close to the 4th of july..

Pretty much everywhere in the county. There are at least four on Route 1 between Old Town and the FFX Co Parkway. Probably more in other parts as well.

NO DUMBASS

walmart can't get a FIRE DEPARTMENT BOMB

license to sell fireworks indoors

why is because of international, state, local fire codes

they would have to keep them far apart - there wouldn't be enough room in the store to do it

walmart employees are sure to be too stupid to get fireworks shipped all packed together on a truck and stock them correctly for fire safety. not their business. and fx co likely wouldn't know they were doing it until ... TOO LATE

and what if a smart ass customer lights one in the store ? are you paying insurance on that ?

DUMBASS. lol

Now whether they do still in Fairfax or not is another matter. They used to everywhere here and certainly still do sell them indoors many places elsewhere.

The Burke Wal-Mart has an affiliated stand in the parking lot.
