Peeping Tom Alert (FCPD seeks info from the public)

It seems like there has been a rash of this peeping-tom behavior this spring and summer. Here's the latest with VIDEO! You get a good look at his face; but they had to cover his groin with a black box when he "touched himself inappropriately". Let's pool our resources here and make FU a forum-for-public-safety that identified the perp. Anybody recognize this hombre?

I took the link and posted the entire contents of the article. This suspect is similiar in appearance to some other incidents reported in the area. Thanks for posting!


Crime Solvers Seeks Peeping Suspect

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the attached video. This video was recorded on Tuesday, April 15, around 7 a.m. by a resident in the 2600 block of Arlington Drive. The witness observed and recorded the suspect as he peeped into an apartment window and touched himself inappropriately. An investigation determined a woman was in that room at the time of this incident.

Detectives are hopeful that a resident in the area will recognize this man and come forward with his identity. The suspect was described as black or Hispanic with a thin build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail through a secure portal at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.

So the Mt. Vernon patrol area is a bit rougher than much of the rest of the county. But when you look just inside that district you'll find that of nearly all the crime if it's not on Janna Lee Avenue, then it's at Mt. Vernon Square apartments. I've driven through there a few times during the day and it looks alright, but it must be freaktown at night.

Maybe it was just an oversight.
