......Muslims are some of the cleanest people on the planet. I was in prison with a few of them and they were constantly washing themselves utilizing the tiny sink in their cells. The facility only provided us with a shower every 3 days. Muslims are fanatics about personal hygiene.

Islamic Toilet Etiquette
1. When entering the toilet, one should say the A'udhu (isti'adha) and Basmala and then recite the prayer "Allahumma innee a'oodhu bika minal khubthi wal khabaa-ith."
2. When entering the toilet, one should not have in one's hand anything on which the name of Allahu ta'ala or any verse of the Qur'an al-karim is written. There is no objection if it is in one's pocket or covered with something. Similarly, when stepping into the toilet, one should not be wearing a pendant with the name of Allah on it. If one has, one should tuck it inside the neck of one's sweater before entering it.
3. It is permissible to enter the toilet with an amulet if it is covered properly.
4. One should enter the toilet with one's left foot and exit with one's right foot.
5. One should recite the prayer "Alhamdu-lil-laa-hil-la-dhi adh-haba 'a-nil a-dhaa wa 'a-faa-ni" when exiting the toilet.
6. One should not talk or sit for a long time or read anything like a newspaper or sing a song or smoke or chew gum in the toilet.
7. After cleaning one's private parts, one should cover them immediately.
8. One should neither face the Qibla nor turn one's back toward it while urinating or defecating.
9. One should remove the feces on one's anus with one's finger and wash one's hand. If there are still traces of filth, one should wash them with water.
10. When cleaning the private parts after answering the call of nature, men should wash them from the back to the front. Women should wash them from the front to the back. Thus, the genitals will not be smeared with filth, nor will it cause one to be sexually aroused by the stimulation of fingers.
11. One should dry one's private parts with a cloth after washing them. If there is not a cloth available, it is permissible to use toilet paper because toilet paper is produced to be used after answering the call of nature. But using other kinds of paper for this purpose is not permissible.
12. One should sprinkle some water over one's underpants after cleaning one's private parts. By doing so, when one notices wetness on one's underpants, one will not feel doubt as to whether it is urine or not. One should assume it to be the sprinkled water and should not fall into baseless misgivings (waswasa).
13. After cleaning their private parts, men should do istibra. Women do not do it. Istibra means not to leave any drops of urine in the urethra. It is done by walking or coughing or lying on the left side.
14. If a man exits the toilet without doing istibra, drops of urine may come out and soil his underwear. Therefore, he should insert a cotton wick as big as a barley seed into his urinary hole, whereby he will prevent urine from oozing out.
15. Istinka means a feeling of being sure and having no doubts that there are no drops of urine left, and one's heart is at ease about it. A man can make wudu' after this certitude in his heart.
16. One should not look at one's private parts or spit into the toilet.
17. One should not urinate while standing unless there is strong necessity for doing so and should not let drops of urine splash onto one's clothes. To that end, one should keep separate pajamas or tracksuit. It is mustahab to enter the toilet with separate pajamas and with the head covered.
18. One should wash one's hands after using the toilet.
19. One must not urinate into any water, on a wall of a mosque, in a cemetery, or on a road.

I was stationed in many muslim countries. In these countries, construction codes require toilets to be delivered with built-in bidets, which are uncommon in the western world. Hence, unlike us, they use water with pressure to clean their asses without touching it. Toilet paper is used just for drying afterwards. Once I saw this, I installed one in my toilet as well. So, the OP is obviously an uneducated bigot, who is falsely attacking muslims. The OP is a disgrace, an embarrassment to the forefathers of this great country, which was not founded on any religion or belief system, but freedom, justice, and equality.

Speak for yourself. Bidets are common in parts of the western world if not the US, however even in the US bidets can be found in many private homes. Home Depot and Lowes sell bidets.
Lacking a bidet, it is still possible to thoroughly clean one's sphincter under a stream of flowing water by hopping onto the sink. Prior to leaving the toilet, ensure there are no hang-fires and if necessary remove foecal remnants using toilet paper. When seated on the sink, Use one hand to wash the anus and surrounding areas, rubbing vigorously with water and soap. Rinse off and hop back off the sink and wash hands, paying attention to under the nails. Keep a spray bottle of cleaner/disinfectant under the sink to clean the area of any stray poop molecules which may have been left behind. Air drying of the touchas is usually sufficient.
Beware of cantilever sinks and pedestal sinks. A quick shower or dangling your ass over the tub can avoid expensive plumbing repairs.
I've found that a stream of running water in the sink or tub is more effective than some bidets, esp. a retrofitted in-seat bidet. The cost savings on toilet paper are amazing.

I drove big rigs for a couple years after I retired. Quite a few truckers carry the portable washlet with them and I loved mine. You cant always stop at a truckstop that has free showers so the washlet allows you to thoroughly clean your ass at any normal restroom.

Yes, Jesus looked more like Abdul than your regular Irish American guy with blond hair and blue eyes. He was a middle Eastern and he was so called colored due to his olive skin color. There is no Irish-like blue eyed, blond haired type of middle eastern man in the middle east today except for the ones who look like that due to fact that they mixed with British either in the Middle East during British encounter/invasion or moved to Middle East from Europe after having mixed with the western Europeans (see Ashkenazi Jews). This was hardly the case back in Jesus' time. Almost all Middle Eastern men looked just like the one in the picture, you call 'Abdul', believe it or not! Naeve conveniently ignores the fact that his very same drawings depict a great variation in facial geometry. Furthermore he did not consider the totality of extant ancient skulls from the region, but simply created a composite of the three. Hair and skin color also both had a great deal of variation in the time of Jesus as they do today. The project has entertainment value but is not scientifically rigorous or sound. Go back to school.
The beard was probably the only valid assumption.

What makes you think I should go back to school? Maybe I am already in the school working on my 2nd PhD. This has nothing to do with me or my degree of education. I am citing my source and letting you all know that this has been acknowledged to be the most realistic depiction of Jesus Christ even by Charles D. Hackett, director of Episcopal studies at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. If middle eastern people are sand niggers with bad hygiene, then are almost all prophets including Abraham, Moses, Aaron, and Jesus. So, treat all with respect!

Instead of picking a quote from some random theology faculty member, how about citing peer-reviewed analysis of Neave's methodology and conclusions. I'd like to see how he refutes the substantial body of work which supports jews with blue eyes and fair skins living in the Middle East in Biblical times. What does he say about Robert Eisler's book "the Messiah Jesus" which contains descriptions from Hierosolymitanus and John of Damascus for Jesus as being "long-faced"?
It's an interesting project, but you can't pick up three random skulls, pick skin and eye color out of thin air, and say that is what a specific individual looked like. No way.
By the way, back when this was in the news a couple years ago, I personally discussed the subject with numerous clergy and two faculty members of VTS (Virginia Theological Seminary) -- including the Dean Emeritus, The Very Rev.
