My neighbor's son is creepin' on my daughter. They are teenagers. They dated this summer. He wanted to knock the bottom out of her. She said no. He's bitter.

For the last few weeks, he has been flying his drone on our property. Hovering outside her window, following her around the backyard...I have asked him repeatedly not to do this. Last night, I went and talked to his parents about it, they were embarrassed and said they would make sure that he doesn't do that anymore.

My question is...If the drone violates my property's airspace can I shoot it down?

The key isn't as much shooting it and confiscating the carcass as much as the shot itself and where the round would/could land. That tends to be reckless discharge of a firearm because you can't really fire a gun around the beltway without the round likely carrying into something potentially occupied.

if its that low, you could probably just use a tennis ball with a streamer of some sort tied to the ball. or use a garden hose with a tight nozzle stream.

The newer quads are gryo stabilized and GPs enabled, so just hitting it isn't enough. gotta foul the props and let gravity take over. unless you hit it hard enough to damage a prop.

keep in mind that if there is a camera, and its sending data back to the operator. you are likely on camera, and that evidence could be used against you. It would suck to have to buy the boy a new drone. as they can be pricey.

So make sure you are hidden such that you cant be seen doing what you are doing. wear a mask, hide your identity, ect.

same thing goes for if it drops out of the sky. you don't want to bee seen by the camera when you pick up.

now that you have it, what do with it... newer quad copters have GPS the owners likely knows where the drone came down, and will know its location as long as the battery is working.

unplug the battery kill the power. then you can drive it around and dispose of it, or put it in the trash can on trash day...

if you really want to kill it. dunk it in salt water. salt water will just fuck it all up. but don't be seen on camera doing it.

I dunno, maybe it's just too logical to say this. Talk to his parents and let them know what's going on. If they are assholes about it, inform them that your next conversation will be with the cops and their son will be marked as a sex predator. If that doesn't work, take it to the next level and start slashing tires.

a .22 break barrel air rifle ought to do the trick I pop squirrels and birds all day long no one gives a fuck. Technically the local ordinances require that you ensure the projectile will not leave your own property but as long as you dont break any windows youre cool. a pintball gun might knock the thing harder but a steel pellet will cut throught the plastic into the electronics. good luck with a slingshot lol

Supersoaker with oil water mix could work if it was under 50 feet up - no law against using a supersoaker on your property. Id say a surfcasting weight and fishing line could be effective too.

If you could hide well enough a pellet gun (or paint gun) would be effective and fun though it mike dozens of tries to hit a moving target like that from any distance. Getting your own cheap drone as Kamikaze would be fun and effective especially if the pervs drone is expensive. You could just stock $50 drones to ram his more expensive drone.
