McDonnell seeks delay of wife's evidence in their corruption case
http://www.wjla.com/articles/2014/06/former-va-gov-bob-mcdonnell-seeks-delay-of-wife-s-evidence-104356.html

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell is asking a court to delay introduction of evidence about his wife's actions or statements in their corruption case.

McDonnell says in court papers that prosecutors should be required to show he participated in a conspiracy before introducing evidence about what Maureen McDonnell did or said.

The McDonnells are charged with accepting more than $165,000 from a dietary supplements maker in exchange for helping to promote his products. Their trial begins July 28.

In the motion filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Richmond, the former governor says the indictment's "most inflammatory allegations" involve his wife. He says the jury could be improperly influenced if evidence about Maureen McDonnell is permitted and the government then fails to show he participated in a conspiracy.

lies that's not what the nafarious indictment said i have a copy

------------------
up to 165k worth of gifts. NOT CASH. not unregistered cash. and presented and known publicly, not hidden. some just food kids ate.

ask obama about food gifts to children for political gain: he bribed a good part of mexico with it , democrats

with bob there is 0 indication the company benefitted directly or indirectly from the gifts in the indictment

end of story i never got notification there was a vote for governor in this democrat stolen deal - democrats intentionally prevented republicans from voting. they are both from NJ that has my head scratching but isn't a charge. and while i'd like to complain and investigate the new gov. i haven't

and i wasn't injured by bob in any way i've been presented in the indictment i'm aboslutely sure

The reason he says "most inflammatory allegations" involve his wife is because she is the one who did most of the thievery. I believe she is more culpable than him.
