Thanksgiving Day Plans
Posted by: William Robert ()

So i figure I will start at bluewater because they are open early on all major holidays. Then ill probably head to shadetree for a few cheap drinks. Probably run over to the backyard (AKA the barnyard) and try to find some sluts and if I dont have any luck ill probably try and get some late night pussy at patriots. Any suggestions or do I have a pretty rock solid plan?

Do you not have anything to be thankful for?

You are more than welcome to spend Thanksgiving Day with my family and me.

I grew up in fairfax. I now live in a piece of shit trailer in west virginia. The only thing i have going for me is that I have 25 acres and a steady job. If I come see my family in fairfax, who havent even invited me to thanksgiving, I am going to have to be out of my mind drunk.

Unless you are offering cheap drinks and easy women, I doubt the OP would be interested.

William,

I'm really sorry that you feel that way, but I know exactly how you feel. I've been there. I don't know exactly what happen to you but this to shall pass. Did you just go through a divorce or break-up?

I've been married for 20 years and I started a tradition when I fisrt met my husband. We celebrate all the holidays together with our children, no family members from his side or my side. We don't own a home or any land, we rent a townhome we're in. My husband works and I'm a stay at home mother. Life is tough but the key is you don't give up. Hard times will eventually pass.

Now, if would like to accept my Thanksgiving invite, please let me know.

Wouldn't that violate your tradition?

Thanks for the invite "god loves you"(?), but if i dont have my drinks i tend to get the shakes and sweats so I probably shouldnt be around your children in that condition. Ill probably just fry and turkey and see how much of it I can eat by myself then head to the local watering hole. I sure will miss patriots and the backyard though.

Yes, but I know how hard the Holidays can be for some people. If people would just show a little more kindness towards one another we could make this world a better place to live. One person at a time. =)

I spend Thanksgiving Day with my family, forget shopping or even leaving the house. I did go to Vegas for Thanksgiving once, but it was to see family (It was a great time too :-)

I'm thankful for FFXU, a source of amusement and information, where the occasional nice person might show up and invite strangers to share their table.

I'm going to my sister's.

Fortunately, we will have a family Thanksgiving, no extended family and for that I am thankful!

I will go to mass on Thanksgiving morning and express my thankfullness to just be alive, for having a wonderful family, for having had some friends and loved ones even though they might have passed. I'm thankful that I have the chance to go to the church of my choice and equally thankful that others have the same choice or the choice to not go at all.

And I know my comments will generate some extreme nutjob responses because I'm a practicing Catholic, because I'm a Christian, or just because I believe in something.

Yes and they usually end up as a Nancy Grace story a few days later.

Here are my plans.

Start the turkey.

Wait too fucking long for the turkey to get done.

Have a tense exchange with relatives.

Have a blow-out fight with relatives about some shit that happened 15 years ago that I can't even remember now.

Eat. (Well, everyone eats except me, because I'm too busy getting food for people).

Watch company leave.

Watch Cowboys/wife cleaning while I polish off the rest of the wine.

God, I hate Thanksgiving.

Anyone too lazy to cook Thanksgiving can go to Whole Foods. They have great prepared dinners that are cheaper than if you went out to eat on Thanksgiving.

Tone...

I, for one, am disappointed that you celebrate such a traditional Thanksgiving! Maybe you should make plans to head out to Backyard or Patriots, either before or after your family leaves...

Actually there are lots of restaurants open on Thanksgiving that serve holiday meals, and yes, they run $50+ per person.

My typical thanksgiving day:

Skip breakfast to save room for turkey.

Drive an hour to visit family.

Start drinking as soon as I get there because my brother-in-law scored some good liquor or has a case of beer.

Make drinks for my mom.

Get hammered by 3-4 because I hadn't eaten all day.

Sit down for turkey and crack stupid jokes, and scare my 2 y.o. nephew with festive toys.

Play Madden and get beat.

Drive home covering one eye so I can see.

That's why I invited him. We should lend a hand to those who are lonely or in need of company or in need period. To me, what William Robert said was sad.

I'm a Christian and I believe good will to others. We should all help people. It would make the world a better place.
