Due to the tediousness of obtaining 4473 forms from FFLs, prosecution for lying on 11E is reserved for after the bodies have cooled, as in the case of Michael Kennedy's father. Unless you intend to misuse your weapons you have nothing to fear from lying on 11E. Indeed even one conviction for simple possession of MJ will not cause you to fail the NICS check.

Kyle is still alive it was his FFL friend/supplier Keith Ratcliffe who was shot in his own gun store. Kyle was charged with felony possession of BHO and simultaneous possession of narcotics and firearms. This is not the same charge used against those who lie on 11E.
