What's going on with the housing market in Sterling/Ashburn?

Just looked around on Zillow. Zip codes 20165 and 20147. Mousing over a bunch of homes for sale via the map. About 20% look like they are in auction/foreclosure.

That seems kind of high from what I remember. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Zillow doesn't pull old listings so you will see all these old foreclosure listings. It's mostly done to get noobs excited, from there they contact a realtor.

e.g

Currently still showing as active, "listed Time on Zillow
5556 days"
