fx co gov workers (and county workers all over USA) were giving their kids new flip phones (who'd break them!!!) and paying more like $800/yr or more when it was a new fad to have a flip phone with txt msg ability. that while people couldn't afford their phone bills
these people REALLY SUCK and deserve to pay their bill - to be forced to sell their home and move into an apartment

It’s not really unlimited if they drop you down to 2G after 9GB. You might not get cut off at that point but your connection would be super slow. You would have an unlimited long time downloading or doing anything.
All major carriers basically charge $20/month for unlimited talk and text. That’s standard now. This plan is just that plus $16 more for 9GB. Not bad I guess but not some kind of super steal.

I have a legacy Boost Mobile prepaid plan for $5 for three months. The minutes are $0.20 against the prepaid balance, but I have a balance over $100 as only use this as a backup phone should something happen to my primary Verizon Wireless phone. As you know, payphones around here not many around and have to drive a few minutes for most to get to one.

I used to use them but my daughter got me on freedompop. It runs me 9 to 15 dollars a month and works better than consumer cellular. I get by on a half gig of data per month usually.

Wasting tons of money to pay for your calls and mobile internet definitely isn't a thing people want and I am glad that some people manage to find good options. By the way, I myself started to spend much less after I changed the job. Now I don't call that much so my mobile balance is huge. Maybe I'll just convert the money from there, just need to find a convenient way to do that. Yet only found this link, maybe you can suggest some other options?
