Governments should be cleaning up the oceans. What a scandal that private citizens have to hand together to take this on.

I went on a youth group trip to help clean up trash at the beach. I think it was to teach responsibility and awareness for the environment rather than volume of trash collected. I remember being in the ocean when a huge bout of diarrhea hit me. It looked like an oil slick hit the surface, with large quantities of marine wildlife dying. I went along with everyone else and blamed corporations instead of my uncontrollable bowels.
