All that I can hear from the scanner is that a bunch of teenagers were stopped from trespassing on the property.

So, a helicopter has three flight controls. A collective stick, a cyclic stick and a set of pedals.

Typically, the reason a helicopter circles is because the pilot has applied the right mixture of pressures to each of the three controls.
