Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Hey, I'm just wondering what is there to do at 3:00am in the morning around here. I know all the 7-11's and the gas stations are open 24 hours but that doesn't count.
The McDonalds in Greenbriar and supposedly the one in Herndon are both open 24/7 which is a good start. Any other places open 24 hours? Food or otherwise? I'd really love to find a 24 hour delivery place around here. Thanks!
P.S. The Giant in Greenbriar is 24 hours except for Saturday night? What is that! Isn't saturday night peak midnight - 6am time?
the 29 Diner on fairfax blvd in fairfax city, awesome food 24/7
You could also go to MTO at Sheetz
Some of the hookah places in Skyline are open hours that resemble 24/7. Open till 7 am or some shit.
24-hour delivery does not exist, so get over that right now. How economical do you think it would be to deliver food to just a few people who are up at that time?
Hey, believe me, I get stoned and stay up all night frequently and have looked for these places, but I've learned how to entertain myself here. Not much to do 24/7 on the west wide of the county unless you want to join a 24 hour gym.
WTF....no love for 7-11? That's my late night go to (unless I want to sit down and eat food that was actually prepared within the last 8 hours, then it's Amphora).
I don't remember if it was 24 hours or not, but out on 28 at the intersection of Waxpool Road there used to be a place called the Village Diner (don't know what it is now) that I think was open 24 hours....it sure seemed like it was. The only good reason to go there was that they would sell you cigarettes no matter how old you were. They also had pay pool tables in the back, and you could get a hamburger or piece of pizza if you really wanted one bad enough.
I agree, Bob and Ediths in Alexandria, Aladdin (Hookah Bar) Denny's...I don't really like Amphora but it is open. Van Dyke park in Fairfax is open all night long, its right next to a police station but they don't mind. I play capture the flag and various other things there sometimes...As for Reston and Herndon I have no idea
a good place that people tend to overlook is Malek's in Springfield... Old Keene Mill, right next to the Safeway and Mcdonalds before the beltway exits. they aren't open 24/7, but i think they may close at like 4am or 3am or something badass.
Do like Kiefer Sutherland. Check into a hotel at 3am with a suitcase, clear out the mini-bar and leave. Talk about badass. Jack Bauer always finds a way!
p2dak, you are just wrong here. Go ahead and make a few calls before you TWICE give a bullshit answer.
The Fair Lakes one, just like EVERY OTHER LOCATION IN THIS AREA BESIDES POTOMAC MILLS, stopped being 24 hours over three years ago. So stop saying it is open past 12. It is not and you are just trying to be a know-it-all. All you ever seem to do is pass bullshit you know nothing about.
