Will you people please stop falling the Potomac from the rocks. It's really simple, don't climb and the rocks at the river's edge!
Today swift water rescue was called to the river three times to rescue people. One person is still missing.
An average of 7 PEOPLE A YEAR FALL IN THE POTOMAC AND DROWN!

Half the time the rescue teams can't figure out what trail leads where and where the units responding are in the woods. They should have VERY DETAILED park trail maps with them when they respond!

STERLING, Va. - A 19-year-old Sterling man who had been missing since September 18 has been found dead in DC, police say.
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says Harrison Frontain was found dead on September 27 in the Potomac River by DC police.
Investigators say there are no signs of foul play. Police said Frontain was reported missing on September 19, after he had last been seen the day before near Seneca Regional Park in Great Falls, Virginia, along with the Loudoun-Fairfax County border.
