Wtf is wrong with you people. That white pastel chalk that you mark the roads with is crap. Get some decent reflective paint and paint the damn roads. You can't see shat around here when it's dark and raining.

All those taxes you pay on gas used to go to road maintenance and improvements. Now it goes to govt union employee pensions.

Re: Paint your damn road lines, Virginia

I second that! There is a stretch if 3-4 lane wide road along rt 28 with no lines left at all. So happy I was, travelling through there in daylight--thinking about how rain plus darkness plus 3 + merging lines of traffic hitting that stretch at 86 MPH (I was told that 86 MPH is the speed necessary to drive down rt 28 without ever having to stop for any red traffic lights) in a thunderstorm ought to be a real hair-raiser. Guess the paint and little reflector bumps have gotten too expensive for them (VDOT)to buy.

Remember when the last failure was governor? Kaine. All the rest stops were closed on the interstate for no reason except to have people killed.

Libs are so smart.

Yeah, the rest stop closures didn't make a teeny dent in the transportation budget that was DESTROYED by Gilmore's no car tax. You want to bitch about our horrible road conditions, a shitload of it stems from that ingenious decision.

What governor stooped the decrease of car tax? A FUCKING DEMOCRAT!
Only a lib (people that welcome fascism) would be okay with government taxing them, but taxing them on something they already paid tax on but annually.

You libs have no clue what America is about.

How much extra in taxes do you voluntarily pay?
Do you look at your W2 and think that's not enough?

You people are all fucking brain dead!

You think roads appear out of thin air, and never need fixing?

Don't want to pay for the taxes that raise the revenue to take care of the roads, the dont drive or STFU.

Fucking whiny bitch. Grow a pair and take care of your shit.

Get fucking educated. If you're going to insult someone for being liberal or fascist, know that they're quite far from each other on the political spectrum. Looking at the definition posted below, it's the Tea Party that smacks of the fascist moniker:

Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism that came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. Influenced by national syndicalism, fascism originated in Italy during World War I, combining more typically right-wing positions with elements of left-wing politics, in opposition to liberalism, Marxism, and traditional conservatism. Although fascism is usually placed on the far right on the traditional left–right spectrum, several self-described fascists as well as some commentators have said that the description is inadequate.

Fascists sought to unify their nation through an authoritarian state that promoted the mass mobilization of the national community and were characterized by having leadership that initiated a revolutionary political movement aiming to reorganize the nation along principles according to fascist ideology. Fascist movements shared certain common features, including the veneration of the state, a devotion to a strong leader, and an emphasis on ultranationalism and militarism. Fascism views political violence, war, and imperialism as a means to achieve national rejuvenation, and it asserts that stronger nations have the right to expand their territory by displacing weaker nations.[p

Fascist ideology consistently invokes the primacy of the state. Leaders such as Benito Mussolini in Italy and Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany embodied the state and claimed indisputable power. Fascism borrowed theories and terminology from socialism but replaced socialism's focus on class conflict with a focus on conflict between nations and races. Fascists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky to secure national self-sufficiency and independence through protectionist and interventionist economic policies.
