No one indoctrinated her, she pretty much figured that out on her own. But we were proud of her nonetheless for resisting democrat party propaganda.

I do worry though, that someday she will abandon truth in favor of social acceptance as most older white democrat party voters have done. However, I do see potential in her in that she stood for truth this time around. There are many young people who are being told 'the rules' by their progtard authority figures, and naturally they are rebelling. Hopefully it carries on through adulthood.

I remember the time I quoted a book from the public library which stated where people came from in America. It covered Native tribes, Europeans, Asians and Africans among other peoples.

The book stated that black people originally came from Africa.

I remember stated this fact as an answer to a question from the teacher.

The entire class laughed and scorned me for my answer, which was in fact correct.

I received detention for stating something which some found funny and others yet found to be offensive.

I was in the 2nd grade in public school in MD.
I found out later, when I was much older, that the 2 women teachers were "partners" as in lesbians. This didn't bother me as much as their shaming and assigning me detention did at a young age.

However, it was an early example of Politically Correct thought, which was totally void of the facts.

They hadn't even taught "boston massacre" in 4th grade - that and Constitution wasn't until 6th grade (5th at earliest). They didn't teach 4th graders about slaughters and laws. They taught about the voyage to America, the push west to settle, and so on: and not much of it. I'm unsure History was even taught 4th grade as tested material. English and math were certainly taught, repetitively.

In 1800 - in Henrico County VA, a small rebellion was thwarted. 1822 SC - 37 rebelled and were put to death (note: not all were put to death, just those 37). 1831, Nat Turner rebellion killed SIXTY white people - 100 blacks were given death penalty not including any that were casualty of war.

If they are told to teach that the sky is green, they MUST teach that the sky is green. Teachers simply may not deviate from what they are told to teach.

If you have a problem with what your kids are being taught, your battle is with the school system and the school board. That is where curriculum decisions are made.

This is very true. Too bad that there are so many people in this county that want their kids to be taught that the sky is green rather than reading, writing and science. The price of our negligence is awaiting many residents because if you have a kid in grade school you may very well be faced with the decision to put your kid in a private school if you want a decent education. This will be in addition to the skyrocketing real estate taxes because the current budget proposal is not sustainable without dramatic tax increases in the outlying years.
