Does it ever NOT fucking rain around here?

Move here 2 years ago. So far it looks like 2019 will be worse than 2018, and last year we crushed the record rainfall total.

Normal January precipitation in DC is 2.81 inches. Last year (2018), we had 0.94 inches. You are therefore shown to be a dope.

Why not? I ran out in a downpour earlier to get the paper from the driveway in my sandals and pajamas. Worked perfectly.

I have been in Fairfax longer than most (6 years), and remember some seriously wet years and some dry ones. In 2014 it only rained on two days (April 14 and October 3). In 2016 it rained an average of 20 days per month, and Lake Barcroft dam looked like Niagra Falls!
