Complain to BOTH and Sen's Warner and Kaine.
Belle Haven Marina is a wonderful place for everyone and more people that don't even own a boat use the marina more then those that do.
People ride thru on bikes, pushing strollers, walking with kids, seeing the boats, the sailing school, and young and old people learning to sail, riding kayaks and canoes, windsurfers, dreaming, watching the many birds and wildlife that can be seen. Ospreys, Ducks, Geese, Egrets, Herons, Turtles, Beavers and the occasional Bald Eagle that can be seen soring high in the sky.
Because its a operating marina with people there it is a safe fun place to go to just off the George Washington Parkway in Fairfax County 1 mile south of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

Dr Charles Drew who invented the process that allows for blood transfusions . Thats one , there are thousands more. Dr Drew died after a auto accident and a transfusion could have saved his life, but as a black man they would not give him one.
