The “no compromise“ Democrats refuse to put forth any MEANINGFUL attempts to open the Government. In fact the Democrats REFUSE to negotiate at all.

The Trump Administration's DHS is still only asking for $1.6 billion.

To date, no amended budget has been sent to Congress. $1.6 billion was fine from 2/2019 through 11/2019, and then suddenly in December, Trump declares a crisis, but still the DHS hasn't updated their budget request to ask for much less justify a higher amount.
Why on earth would Congress appropriate MORE THAN WHAT DHS IS ASKING FOR????
If Trump wants more money, his own people need to demonstrate a shred of competence.
