The Red Sox spent a lot of money this year and got a great season out of it, all capped off by some unexpected and stunning work from 35-year old journeyman Steve Pearce who made all o $6.5 million. You just never know. But at least the nasty Yankees and Dodgers were turned away. Next year will of course be a new year, and hope springs eternal. Maybe Dumbo Dave Martinez will figure out what he did wrong this year...

That was then? This is now? No. See that's the funny thing about math...if the factors don't change then neither does the product.

Today, right now...the Red Sox have won 9 World Series titles. Meanwhile, the Yankees have won 27 World Series titles. 27 - 9 = 18...just like it did then and just like it does now.

The Red Sox would have to win every World Series title between now and 2037 to catch the Yankees. Offhand, I'd say you have some work to do...

The RED SOX won it NOW, SKANKees fan and your SKANKees didn't. SO suck it up, you're 4th best, at best, behind the RED SOX, Houston and LA. your precious little SKANKees might not even be as good as the Cubbies or Milwaukee.
