opioids in FX county

Apparently there is an opioid problem everywhere. Is Fx impacted or is just with people that you would assume have this. Is this a fake epidemic?

My neighbor died from an opiod overdose about 6 months ago.

When I hired demo guys from Waldorf in 2006, they were PAST snorting it and were injecting the crushed oxy in their necks. Budds creek area/Lexington park area were bad since the early 2000’s.
When I had contract work in coal mine town in PA IN 2009, oxy pills were everywhere.
There needs to be old people on free prescription med plans that need rent money, food money etc to barter with these addicts.
PA had weird coal miner lung settlements with 75% of the populace here. Free leases on GM cars every 5 yrs etc.
All people would do is get pills.
Fast forward to now-Southern md is switching to balloon heroin cut w fentanyl.
4 buddies from Lee high school have OD.
2 in the townhouses across from green hills projects alone.
Balloon heroin plus that instant shot that EMS uses, is creating a HUGE problem.
ADDICTS can literally overdose knowing they can be revived with a shot!
Sad.

Natural selection is my way of cleansing the gene pool of defects. Druggies dying from OD is part of this process, so it's not a problem.
