Especially one or more on the Fairfax County School Board and Board member policy supporters of them. Its not been the same since the transgender vote including bathrooms in May, 2015, and with dissenters being silenced at meetings.

Vibrant and successful local economies can typically be identified through their acceptance of gays and other sorts of minorities and subcultures. Uptight areas tend to have dismal and stagnant economies since no one of any talent or intelligence wants to live or work in such areas.

Most gay couples don't have children which decreases the demand for tax dollars. Most gay men also maintain their houses better, which increases property values. Given a choice I would rather have a gay couple as neighbors over some inbreds from the sticks with their rusted out pickup and half a dozen kids.
