From experience with Uber, they have relaxed their hiring standards over the years. So many drivers you cannot pronounce their names, have limited English skills, nor care to talk with you. Some nearly or as bad as traditional cab drivers, nor do they care how they are rated. First hand experience, particularly bad around Metro stations as Vienna and Wiehle as find more of them there. Uber a company with a corporate cost-cutting mindset who is very open to hiring 3rd world help. Not saying all, but a significant percentage. Whenever the need, use Lyft whenever possible, except when far away or in price surge which is seldom at least in the western part of Fairfax County. Lyft, much less of these problems, from a community minded company. I have had friends and people I know driving for Lyft, none for Uber. Surveys show (you can Google) overall driver satisfaction is higher with Lyft than with Uber and it shows to the customers. Way more bad experiences with Uber than with Lyft, the later who does way better to make things right if something by chance goes wrong. The evil of political correctness costs time and money.

UBER AND Lyft, showcase the future of how employees will not have any loyalty to any one company. No benefits/insurance etc.
I know that every time I turn the UBER driver app on, I will make $150 per every 5 hours of driving.
This does not include trip incentives. As soon as I get done, I light up some really crystals OG making its rounds. I’ll jerk off and take a nap. Then, around 6pm, I’ll head back into DC and make another $80-100.
UBER is the longest job I’ve ever had in my life(3 years in October).
The women I meet between college age and 35, are phenomenal.
Nothing is better than helping Georgetown freshmen or Gw freshman women move in around August.

The reason you are driving for Uber is that you can't do arithmetic.
You are not making money.

Well, if you do it for 40 hours / week, 10 hours a day, you can average $4/hour.
That's before taxes, but after most expenses.

I don't think you're even an Uber driver, because there is no way you
will even see $500 gross for a 5 hour day.

Most trips pay the driver $4, a few pay more.
You can get at most 2-3 trips per hour.
12 * 5 = $70 for the day

Even if you were getting four times as much as is possible,
you would be grossing around $280 / 5 hour day.
But you're not getting that.
You're grossing closer to $100. PER DAY, NOT PER HOUR.
