FBI holding training exercise at Landmark Mall

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- The FBI's Washington Field Office will be holding a training exercise at the Landmark Mall on Friday.

The exercise will take place on Friday at the Landmark Mall located at 5801 Duke Street. It is expected to run until 10:00 a.m. During the exercise, the public may see law enforcement activity and is asked to avoid the area.

Officials said the exercise is designed to test response protocols and promote preparedness.
