Does anyone know what the old building used to be that is located across from the valvoline oil change on 29 heading west from fairfax? Even better....does anyone have a photo from its previous life.

It was an old crackwhore house, they burned it down with the whores inside.

Your mom was a nun that was gang raped.
The neighborhood kids got together and burned it down.

No clue, but you could try the "Old pictures of Fairfax county, love em!" thread, if you haven't already.

As long as I can remember it was a Veterinary Clinic. Can't remember when it closed. I think they moved to the other side of that apartment complex.

It was the old Arthur Treachers asylum for the criminally insane (this is long before Arthur became world famous for his chain of gourmet seafood restaurant's). It was accessed by the old Eisenhower connector Rd and Bunny man Blvd. The only question is WHY did it close?
