Can you blame Obama for being so happy sitting next to Melania? Look at her--she's gorgeous, especially compared to Michelle. Melania is a stunning, sweet, intelligent, gentle woman. Not a sheboon.

Talking points for today...

1) They are seeking info about the waffle house gunman to see if there's anything to throw a tantrum about.

2) If #1 fails, embrace the nigger that stole his gun as the king of wakanda, hold rallies to build statues of him and call everyone racist that won't suck his cock publicly.

3) Statue protests - on hold. See #2.

4) Using schoolkids to protest guns - the kids have lost interest and are playing fortnight. Wait for the next school shooting.

5) Trump - on hold trying to find some fake talking points about the earth overheating...waiting for it to not be the coldest April in the history of the earth before launching that.

6) Starbux - doing some slow drive bys to make sure the place hasn't been overrun with smelly homeless niggers - check back tomorrow. McDonalds is safe as they eject white people, but that place is even gross for libtards.

So very true. Public school teachers can be blamed for much of the mass stupidity that plagues our nation today.

Private school teachers as a group are twice as likely to hold Ph.D.s than public school teachers as a group.

Why do so many lack certification by any accreditation board in the subject that they teach? Why do they make so much less money as a group? There are certainly some fine private schools out there, but as a group, they perform poorly in comparison to public schools when student bodies are corrected for parental income and educational levels.

I went to public school but any good school will teach you how to pick up on weak attempts to game "statistics."

Sure did.

I hoped you enjoyed the diversity of public school. We were learning what 10th grade students learn while we were in 6th grade. Hell of a jump start on life, without the threat of being stabbed.

Because they aren't required to get one. Would you like them to get fishing licenses if they aren't going fishing?

> Why do they make so much less money as a

Multiple reasons. First, teachers’ unions possess an unfair advantage. Through lobbying and campaign contributions, they get to pick who sits across the bargaining table from them. Second, the labor markets are just plain different. Private schools can pay less precisely because they’re better for teachers. Class sizes are smaller. There is also less bureaucratic red tape in private schools.

A recent recap of high school graduates showed private school students scoring 3.1 points higher on the ACT test. The same disparity is found in primary and middle schools according to the NCES. A comparison of mathematics tests showed private schools scored 18 points higher for eighth graders and 8 points higher for fourth graders. Reading had the same results with the private schools outscoring their public counterparts by 18 points in eighth grade and 15 points in fourth grade.

It obviously is when a major point of private school for most is to self-select away from the factors lowering those numbers through your "adjustments" to begin with. Smart kids with good parents generally will do well anywhere.
Your exercise in adjustment exists only as an attempt to level the lower end of that curve against that. Furthermore, it only applies to specific test scores (and isn't really even true then btw in many cases) and doesn't take into account a whole range of other aspects of learning and overall school experience.

Actually, smart kids with good parents do better in public schools than in private schools. Your private school education was apparently such that it allowed you to miss that point entirely. Take a Stat 101 course some day and maybe you'll start to understand.

You admit then that private school teachers are not held to the same high standards as public school teachers. Noteworthy, were it not for the fact that everyone already knows that.

Private schools are actually hiring the leftovers. What you further mean to say here is that there is no accountability to any outside authority at all in private schools. They do what they want in cutting corners to maximize profit, and the children be damned.

That's false. Not adjusting for socioeconomic factors, etc., generally results in private schools having high-single or double-digit advantages over public schools. That's why such adjustments are made by those attempting to 'level the field' in light of that. Otherwise, the statistical differences are near zero in most all assessments (i.e., there is little to none either way).

Schools vary greatly from one to another though and are not simply segregated into public vs private as you're attempting for your own ideological purposes.

Sounds like total surrender on your part. FACT: Like students perform better in public schools than in private schools. Only if cherry-picked data are used do private schools compare favorably. None of the claimed magic is actually there.

Once again, that's false. And "cherry picking" is kind of the point but it;s not in the numbers. Since you clearly are lost as far as that goes, let me explain it in a way that you'll better understand...

Private School: "Wow, our test scores kick your test scores' ass."

Public School: "Yeah, but you don't have to deal with crack babies, gangbangers, kids of parents with 8th grade educations, inbred Appalachian morons..."

Private School: "Yes, we know. See ya!"

They are held to the standard set by those paying tens of thousands of dollars to have their children taught by them.

And those standards are lower than those typically applied in public schools -- where accountability is also much more rigorous.

The word "data" is plural as used. A public school might have taught you that.

Just to the primate house at the zoo.
Those chimps are always grinning.
Humans find them amusing and frequently laugh.
That's what's happening in the picture of Melania sitting next to the monkey.
