FCPS, get rid of MUKAI

Will someone from FCPS please wake up and realize that Mike Mukai is ruining West Springfield. This school has gone downhill since he took over. We need a new principal - someone who is competent and actually does something to help students and staff. He has ruined that school and everyone hates working and going there. His team of admin is just as bad - all incompetent and unintelligent people who have no idea how to run a school. So sad, it used to be a great place to work.

A bit sanctimonious at times but a great guy all around. Team captain of the wrestling team too!
You don’t like public school, send your kids to private.

While being a basically nice guy, Mukai is an inept principal. He has no people skills and is there to make a name for himself in the education world. His scheme to go to no grades will burden teachers to the point where the reports they generate will become worthless. No teacher can track 130 kids as to what exactly they know. This kind of plan would even be cumbersome at a private school where the student to teacher ratio is less. Humankind is by nature competitive and until we accept that and let the grades ride we are doing a disservice to our kids.
