The Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) Committee of the Arlington Sister City Association will host a screening of “The Soviet Story,” a documentary on the philosophical ties between the Soviet Union and Nazi German prior to and in the early stages of World War II, today at 3 p.m. at Columbia Pike Library.

The 2008 film by Edvins Snore received the “Mass Impact Award” at the Boston Film Festival and was selected for inclusion at several other festivals.

The screening is free.
