Judge rejects request to move trial in fatal Va. food truck crash

Erin Kaplan, 39, of Ashburn, was killed as she drove northbound on Evergreen Mill Road. Her three children and mother were injured.
LEESBURG, Va. — Despite extensive news coverage of the September 2017 crash that killed a Loudoun County mother, a circuit court judge has denied food truck owner Tony Dane’s request for a change of venue.

do you know why?
the judge has control over who gets insurance money or "who skips out". if that trial were moved it could land into someone who has favors with (either party, let's say the franchise in NY,NY). a NY,NY trial would very likely come to a conclusion the company truck owed nothing on insurance or otherwise :)
there isn't no reason Judges may say no to jurisdiction changes

Neither have you. You have made no reference to relevant statutes or clearly established legal principals. You just made some shit up.
There is no nefarious plot behind the judge's ruling. The defendant does not have a right to have the case tried where the defendant wants. The case was filed in a venue which is a permissible venue under Virginia Code section 8.01-262. When a case is filed in a permissible venue the burden is on the objecting defendant to show another venue is, in the discretion of the judge, more appropriate. The defendant failed to carry its burden.

Oh, I also have such that I do not want to cook) We then go to the cafe with the family, or we order the delivery of pizza. Fast, tasty and satisfying, and for the money is acceptable) Well, most importantly, I do not need to stand near the stove and then wash the dishes) And we often buy russian foods and bars for russian chocolate
