Just to let everyone know that, mount Vernon high school will no longer be bully for low sol scores. Today Ms.King told us that we have over 90% passing rates in all our subjects, that is not counting the kids who failed it for a couple points so it might go even higher. I argee we didn't do very well in math in the past but this year is different! What will the haters say when you found out we got the highest score in the counry ?

Mt Vernon's white population actually went up this year, and is expected to go up next year, as parents sour on spending thousands at private schools. But, I doubt MV's SOL scores are going to be very good, compared with the rest of FCPS. There's a lot of Hispanics and Rt 1 negroes who bring the SOL and SAT scores way down.

MVH has a terrible baseball team.

Flip Flippen showed the teachers at MVHS how to capture the hearts of the kids. If you do this, Flippen explains, then you have their heads.

How can you argue with Flippen? He asserts that he is a psychotherapist. He will tell you about his "privileges" at psychiatric hospitals.

The state of Texas will tell you that Flippen is a licensed professional counselor. They will also tell you his license is inactive. When a non physician seeks hospital privileges in Texas, they must be sponsored by a physician.

Fippen, when asked about such matters, declines to respond. He must, instead, be working on the latest refinement to the "Flippen profile" or other tools he uses to assist schools, sports teams, corporations, and the government.

Actually, the number of white kids at MV went down again this year, from 436 to 408.

why did he say the sol scores are above 90%?

I think we'll have to wait until all the scores are in and any re-tests are done before we know for sure.

1) Nardos King should have been fired for placing those ridiculous yearbook ads.

2) MVHS' scores continue to plummet.

3) MVHS hired Menville "Flip" Flippen at taxpayer expense. What good did it do?

The place should be closed down, or kept open with all new leadership. What a waste it is now.
