Totally agree. Brian Wilson was at least occasionally amusing, but the new pair, Walters and the guy Vince whatever, are just grim. And boring. Can't even listen to them.

WMAL's morning show is terrible now! I have not tuned them in since hearing the lack of talent and personality by the new hosts. WMAL really screwed the pooch with that change! Geez, who the hell is running that organization?

Boring shows, too many commercial/traffic/weather breaks between the boring segments. Waiting to hear the ad where Larry O'Connor goes for his colonoscopy and he describes how "fabulous" an experience it was per Doctors Bung and Hole.

Morning show sucks. They revisit the same shit day after day and just regurgitate what the previous days afternoon shows discussed.
Larry O'Connor is a dumb pass. Today he stated that the only way a male can get AIDS is through intravenous drug use or male on male sex. Ya, men cannot get AIDS from sex with females you dumb ass.

A radio station has got to cater to the demographics. That's why it's ads are geared to people needing a butt probe and can't climb a ladder to clean the gutter.
This generation does not interact with the human experience. All that's left is the last of the boomers who can't download a podcast or find pandora.
Once Rush is gone, radio will die a slow painful death. Your new cars infotainment center will not have a radio option.
Both the print media and talkers will be a thing of the past in 5 years.
They will be in the LoC next to silent films and morse code machines.

I don't think they only cater to old white guys.

This morning I flipped to WMAL to catch a traffic report and they were actually debating whether parents should pierce their infant daughters' ears. Are you fucking kidding me? Mary is the regular host and it seems there's a different guy in there with her every other day. It's actually painful to listen to. I almost never tune to WMAL since it became apparent that Brian Wilson wasn't coming back.

Larry, while a bit of a limp-wristed theater queer, does occasionally have an interesting guest on, but 3 hours of Larry is about 2 1/2 hours too much. When he first came on I couldn't stand Savage, but he kind of grows on you after a while, and now I miss him. And I would rather hit myself in the head with a hammer than listen to Mary Walter and whatever monotone drip she is paired up with for the day.
