Traffic on Thursdays

Everyone was right about being transferred here. It sucks.

Yet what the hell is up with Thursday's evening commutes on Rt 50 w or 123 S? Thursday is literally 25% worse every Thursday.

Any reason such as a factory that gets out on Thursdays I don't know about or do I just blame illegals?

As stated, Thursday is the new Friday.

Everyone wants to have 4 day work weeks and 3 day weekends or "claim" they will be working from home on Friday!

Wife and I have noticed this crap for the past 15+ years. Thursday is "crunch" day and the one day everyone wants to get to the office and LEAVE on time or early.

Thursday traffic SUX, it will be lighter while school is out over the Summer, then in late August, it will turn back to crappy Thursdays.

Additionally, on Fridays in the summer rush hour starts at lunch time.

Don't forget Civil Servants who get to work compress work weeks and take off every other Friday.

Usually by Thursday the tired Metro system has stopped running well during rush hour so more people know to drive.
