Some estimates have the total population of the school being around 2,400 next year. Currently at 2,200 for 16-17. It was at 1500 not that long ago.
Immigration, plain and simple. Culmore and other areas are seeing a large influx and some of those apartments have 10 people living in them. I do know some people that work at Stuart and they say the halls are overcrowded. There also moving up a division in athletics next year because of their size.

This has apparently been anticipated for some time. During the Annandale High School redistricting school officials kept dismissing suggestions that Stuart take some Annandale students on the grounds that while Stuart was under capacity at that time, in a few years it would be overcrowded. The idea of shifting Stuart neighborhoods to underutilized Falls Church to compensate were rejected because Falls Church was a less desirable high school than Stuart, and Stuart controls the Mason District School Board seat.

A total freak out. That's what. When the County contacts me about how they plan to change the name of my school, I just won't tell them.

You will have to start out by changing the name of all of the. Go ahead and get yourself some new big signs. They had better be made of metal that can't be stolen.
You'll need pencils, pens and a bunch of crayons for everyone in our fair County who doesn't pay fair taxes. Oh, while you are at it, why doesn't the news just call it like it is and refer to people here illegally as illegal aliens. That happens to be what in the world they are. They are aliens.
Phil Collin for the group Genesis had a hit song awhile ago called, "It;s No Fun Being An Illegal Alien". He's right illegal anything is bad. But coming in to the country is better for them, better for all of us. Why would anyone want to come to our fair country illegally.

They were part of the status quo and led their lives in the manner that was prevalent at the time in their society. The Emancipation Proclamation wasn't even delivered until well into the war... for two years they had already been fighting so the didn't join to free the slaves.... Not to mention it only freed the slaves in the SOUTH. And that was purely strategy, to keep England and France out, that being said....glad it happened.
