Whatever happens with Trump his election will bring lasting good:
* The unmasking of main stream 'media' as not media at all but just the Liberal Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party.
* The realization that our learning institutions have been taken over as the Liberal Indoctrination Arm of the Democratic Party.
The importance of these plus the importance of fighting back to resist and reinstate a free Democracy cannot be overstated.

It may be a double standard by the "mainstream media" but there is a reason. Conservatives have been waging war on the mainstream media since the 1980s. Remember Jesse Helms campaign to have conservatives buy CBS to "Become Dan Rather's boss". Then conservative commentators urged conservatives not to believe the mainstream media resulting in what even Rush Limbaugh has called a segregated media. Finally Trump himself made the mainstream media a target on his campaign, a process he continued since he took office.
News media exist to inform the public, but they are also businesses which need to make money. If most of your audience is made up of people from the center or left, then you are going to skew your reporting so that it is attractive to those on the center or left. If most of your audience is made up of people from the right, your reporting will be skewed towards that end of the spectrum. And if Hillary Clinton had won, we'd be seeing the same thing from the conservative media that we are seeing from the mainstream media.
