Woodson Job

Interesting there is no discussion on the Woodson job. Does no one care who gets that job?

If anyone does care, any thoughts or guesses?

I would think a good assistant from a program like LB, Robinson or Chantilly would be interested. I don't think you will get a sitting head coach this late in the game.

Woodson could be a good spot for a young energetic coach, but you have to be patient enough to rebuild the program.It could be competitive year end and year out.

They don't really have a lot of time to be too picky, hopefully Checko can get someone fast.

It's amazing how much interest was/is in the LB job, but no one seems to care about the Woodson position. Are LB and Woodson that different? It seems to me they pull from a very similar population, and Woodson has produced some decent athletes. The area is just as affluent as the LB area, so raising money shouldn't be a problem.

Any ideas who has applied for the job or been interviewed?

Former Battlefield HC earlier this week.

Battlefield HC, Edison HC, someone from Lake Braddock and a former HC from Brentsville HS.

Kids have been saying that Battlefield and LB coach got called back for 2nd interviews. Not sure when the announcement will come
