Lake Braddock Accident This Morning: Why is the driver's description newsworthy?

"A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control, and collided with a light pole on Lake Braddock Dr. The driver was reportedly a male in his 40's, wearing a dress, high heels, and makeup. Alcohol was believed to be a factor. The individual fled the scene on foot but was pursued" ***from neighborhood watch**
