Drove by there earlier.
Upscale condos?
Who are the schmucks that are going to pay out of their asses to live there?
There are far nicer areas to live than there.

Apparently you haven't been paying attention.

That entire area -- the old Mayflower storage building, the old bowling alley -- is getting gentrified. The hipster dufus crowd -- those with out cars -- enjoys being near the Metro.

Jokes on you, OP. I've been sitting on 4 properties in that area for 15 years. Their values have tripled overnight. And there's more development on the way! In 5 years, when I sell, I'll be 43 and I'll never have to work another day in my life...#PrintingMoney

But the metro really isn't near there. Its not that close. Good luck and have fun walking to and from the metro when the weather is shitty with freezing cold gusty winds.
