The rest make good money working for contractors or on their own (eventually they contract themselves). It doesn't take long for someone with ambition to make money laying carpet, sanding hardwood floors (plenty of those), installing drywall, putting on roofs, doing masonry work, etc. and there is PLENTY of work doing all of this. People with college degrees do not know how to do this stuff. Supply and demand. Plenty of work means plenty of immigrants here to do it.

If you've ever had any of the above jobs done, you know how expensive they are. They know how much they can get and they get it.

They split the rent of those "$1300" apartments with 5 to 6 other adults, come on now! Last year; ICE busted a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom single family home in my neighborhood where (not kidding) 14 adults and 7 children were living. YES, 21 fucking people in a single-family home in North Reston...

I have a 2br townhouse in Georgetown South, I rent it out to 6 people at $1,500 per month. Normally it would only bring about $1,000~.

Since there is no chance home prices will decrease anytime soon, my guess is that they will crossover to Loudoun and live in Sterling Park. Homes in Sterling Park are cheaper by far. Time will tell.

I have been in the Herndon area for many years. The parts around Elden St. and Alabama Ave. have turned into a 3rd world shit-hole and has been like that for a long time. That part of town was never a great area though, it used to have a lot of sec 8 housing full of ratchets but most have been replaced by illegal aliens. So what's worse, savages or locusts?
