So Just how much are Apts getting to be in NOVA...Fairfax County Rt 1 area, Alex, Falls Church, Fairfax, Annandale, Chantilly ,McLean, Vienna, Herndon. .. Ah..Reston.. ??
1 BR ... 2 BR..3 BR.. All utilities paid.? .Or what does the rent not cover..
In Many places the renter pays electric..Some pay that and gas bill too.

Same Locations Number of Bedrooms , Baths..just let us know SFH or TH.
DAJAX .. In The Burg of "Fed-Necksburg" where Feds live large on the Cheap..1600 gets you a 4 BR 3 bath house.. You pay all utilities..Natch..2 BR Apts about 1200 with you paying electric. I posted bout a 2 br small SFH for 1100 a moth 1/4 mile from Mary Wash College a bit back..

$1800/mo would get you a nice 1 bed/1 bath apartment in Falls Church. A nice one too, and convenient. You could probably get something around 1500-1600 that's older and/or worn, and not convenient.

Yes and then you pay $400 a month in gas and take 6 hours a day to commute in rush hour traffic. Unless you pay to take the VRE with a monthly pass of $360. Plus there is nothing in Fredericksburg, VA to do.

That must be one of those Hi Rise Lux Pads I see up there!! 6800 a mo..!! But there are those that can swing that...LOL!
In San Francisco 1000 a month gets you a loft apt in a converted..warehouse.. a bed..a bit of space ..communal bath..that's It..! 2200 maybe a 1 br regular apt..! How Lucky NOVA is!!

That's why people pay 1,800 to rent in Falls Church. It's easily a 1.5+ hour commute from Fredricksburg to here. More like 2+ I bet. The wear/tear on a car, and soul-crushing traffic is not worth any price IMO. Spending a whole lot of my free time during the week in traffic seems like a nightmare.

You Ride In Style In a Fed-MO-VAN In A Fed-MO-POOL On the cheap..bout 250 a month ..sleep baby sleep ..as you ride.. Nothing to Do..LOL..Everything in The Burg as in NOVA..and you got NOVA/DC/MD 50 miles one way and Richmond 45 the Other..Baby..!! The Rivah..The Bay..The Blue Ridge..Skyline Dr all the Favs..!! Va Beach 160 miles..!! Norfolk 130 !! OBX 2 hrs closer..Sorry 3-4 hrs.. on a Saturday in Summer..LOL!!

That's not priced for an average person with a job. I'm sure it's some luxury penthouse deal they're trying to rent out to multi-millionaires if they need a place to stay with family around here for a year or two.

I will agree renting a Apt is not a good deal..Down Fednecksburg..If Your commuting . A house that's a maybe less rent then NOVA yes.. more commute.. bigger home..
For Buyers its a Winning Deal 265-300 k ..4 br 3 bath nice SFH in The Burg in nice subdivisions. With public water and sewer..Even Nat gas Heat and stoves or electric..The Lucky Feds!!!
Families don't need all the DC Night life..LOL..And The BURG is a wonderful place for families..and not a Redneck place some think it is..Folk the same as NOVA here..
