Any good furniture stores in Fairfax Co
Posted by: Ronnie Calhoun ()

I rented a townhouse in Fairfax and I still need to buy some furniture. I recently moved to the area to take a contracting job with CACI. I wanted to avoid the popular chains and IKEA. Also I will never rent to own anything EVER! I need something which won't fall apart in a year which is modern and contemporary.

Thanks!

Saah Furniture off Edsall Rd off 395 carries all solid wood furniture. We have purchased from them several times over the years. They have both finished and unfinished furniture. They will finish the unfinished pieces for you if you do not want to do it. I like doing it so I mainly get it unfinished.

Looks like a nice furniture store. I'm a fan of wooden furniture. I don't like how they won't show you a price though

Ikea, Amazon, Ebay

When you're ready to move, you can update your next place with the newest furniture thats in style. I paid $3000 to furnish my whole house, and I don't give a fuck about my furniture, when I move I'll give it away or toss it. I know other people who will spend $3000 on a couch and treat it like a ferrari, they buy covers for it, don't allow kids or pets on it. And when it comes time to sell they have to waste hours on craigslist just to get pennies on the dollar back.

I never understood the whole concept of covering your couch in plastic. I agree they're prices are cheap but I had a dresser from IKEA which was pure wood pulp and it fell apart almost a year later. It would also get these white scuff mark looking streaks on the side. Anyhoo Amazon might be worth checking out too I guess. I'm planning on trying to stay in this town house for awhile or at least until I get married. All depending on how the contract with CACI goes. My girlfriend lives all the way over in San Diego so it will be some time until she could possibly move and find a job. She's still in the Marines

No plastic on the furniture...no sheets on the bed....rub it w/ fried chicken to get that lizzie negro smell. "My girl is all the way over in San Diego"...I meant FFX Jail.

It would still be worth paying them a visit. I went to school with one of the family members and they are great to deal with. They are a small company and keeping prices up to date is hard to do with only a couple of people working there. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the furniture they have.
