Apparently there is a contest between 6 rookie cops and 4 veterans to see who can write the most tickets in Annandale today. Winner picks up the tab at tonight's party.

Sounds highly false. I was at a light just up the road and a motorcycle cop pulled up next to me and let me know my inspection had expired (oops). He was really nice and no ticket just a verbal warning. I drove straight to the inspection station and had a new inspection within 40 minutes. He could not have been nicer about it.

My wife was black (not American, from Cameroon) and she got pulled over by Fairfax's finest in June 2015. She had been sick (she has since died) and both her plate tag and inspection sticker were expired, but he only gave her one ticket - he could have given her two. Of course she complied with all his requests and didn't go nuts on him. If you are civil to the cops and don't argue/resist, you'll be okay, by and large, regardless of race.

One of the few benefits of being a middle aged white male. Ran a red light because I could not see the light through the fucking box truck in front of me, and no, I was not tailgating. Cop pulled me over and asked if I knew why. I said yes, because I could not see the stop light because of the stupid truck. He told me he only pulled me over because there were so many vehicles that saw it and he was only doing it for appearances. Gave me a good day and sent me on my way. No ticket.... no problem. #drivingwhilewhite

99% of blacks have committed a felony within the past week, so I make sure to at least give them a ticket any time I can.
