Virginia peanuts are the best. You don't say if you need to ship them, but peanuts don't present the problems that liquids do.

Get the chocolate covered ones. You will be thanked over and over. You need to get them at a store though shipping is 16 bucks a can. Gets expensive if you get 6 cans or more...

Has anyone tried both the Hub's and Virginia Diner peanuts? Are they alot different or mainly the same?
I can get Virginia Diner peanuts at Giant, are the Hub's worth checking out as well or same 'ol same 'ol.

ALL: The whiskey being produced from the grist mill at Mount Vernon is overpriced for what it is. It's meant to impress the tourists. Spirits have come a long way since the 1700's.

Bowman Brothers Virginia Straight Bourbon is comparable quality, less expensive and still satisfies the need for a VA-based gift.

If you are really out to impress someone with a bourbon gift and you don't care where it comes from...Pappy Van Winkle and you can thank me later.
