probleM IS it doesn't work and kills people, because computers are STUPID and what is stupider is people who believe they've made a computer "smart" using your TAX money to do it (ie, Berkeley, the home of foreigners protesting against whites)

do you think that spic might step on the white kids shoe lace? he might, and the child would disappear from view. there certainly isn't an algorithm to cover "whatever might happen"
do you think a collection of algorithms can explain the world to a cpu? if you stupid you think so.
(if the cpu waited for every danger while thinking, the car would always be still because there is no end to the power needed to correctly think about what is IN PLAIN VIEW that MIGHT HAPPEN in the future - just seconds away)

Self-Driving Uber Apparently Runs Red Light In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A self-driving Uber car was caught on camera apparently running a red light in San Francisco Wednesday.
Uber launched the fleet of self-driving Volvo SUV’s Wednesday morning, just hours before the incident.
Dashboard video from a Luxor Cab captured the Volvo apparently running the light after the taxi had stopped for the light. Just in front of the SFMOMA building.

i remember the old vision, tron vision let's call it, of computer driven cars
it was a highway with designated lane for such - incl. encoded markers, and the hailing was it could save fuel and accidents when fully developed.
IT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE INTERMIXED WITH LIVE TRAFFIC unless all cars in the traffic were so aware to lock out motion if any car decided to stop
no legit IT person has ever suggested computers can drive cars. just hacks paid by obama democrats
(and you'd need bullet proof passenter walkways to get across such a road - way over, enough over so that automated truck could not break the bridge)
