Will it snow in Fairfax in 2013

Will it snow this Winter? Sucks my kids havent seen any real snow since Snowmageddon 2010.

A local contractor has been hiring illegals and murdering them at the end of the job to avoid paying them. FCPD got a tip that the bodies will be hidden under the snow cover, if it ever snows again.

Even when it snows here, it usually melts with a couple days or weeks. Most likely we will have one more snowfall, around 3-4 inches, and it will melt within a few days, but it will be enough to get roadsalt and sand everywhere, which will eventually wash away in early spring. Spring is the real prize for living here, not the winters. Best to take a road trip north if you want to see some real snow for your kids.

Greenhouse effect means drastic changes in weather do to the ice at the poles melting.

It is a proven fact that the ice is melting. With the poles melting there are higher water levels. Higher water levels mean drastic shifts in weather, larger storms.

Don't worry look for snow in Feb for sure. Cold air is right around the corner and will be here this up coming week. By the end of the week we will have precip and it will be on the border line so rain/snow or just snow.

Keep your snow blower, we get on average 14 to 16 inches a year. Well you might just get that in 2 snows between know and march 21st, the first day of spring.

It will snow in Fairfax this winter,just not enough to cause problems. We really don't need anything else to cause traffic problems. We've already got enough Asian drivers on a dry day to F things up!

The 1600 GOES model is just now coming in. It shows a major shift in the storm path for Friday afternoon. It will pull in more moisture from the ocean while the high is stationary over Hudson Bay. The end result will be 12 - 16 inches for the DC metro area and more for the NW suburbs.

Watch the media go crazy with this once they start issuing warnings.
