I am going to cry if don't get a raise every year. I WANT MORE MONEY VOTE YES ON THE MEAL TAX. AFTER ALL I WORK 180 DAYS A YEAR. NOT COUNTING SICK DAYS, OR SNOW DAYS OR VACATION DAYS. UNLIKE YOU LOSSERS I ONLY WORK 7 HOURS A DAY

The average American now that temp help and part time positions are the norm works less than you.
If you want more money consider developed countries like Finland Sweeden Holland or the UK.
Trump is right we need to dumb down education needs to take a back seat.

FFX county teachers pay, benefits and retirement plans are way over paid. Especially for employees that barely work 4 months of the year with paid snow "weeks" off. School are barely open in FFX county!
Fairfax county government employees are WAY WAY WAY overpaid. Our tax dollars wasted. Don't even get me started on the county board benefits.
Trump needs to be elected stop all these government perks like paid full salary retirements. Stop and renegotiate existing plans.

Thank God FCPS Teachers have TWO retirement plans.
Makes up for how difficult it is to be hired, with FIFTEEN qualified teachers for every ONE available position.
No wonder they want a raise.

The teachers are not overpaid when many only make $50-$60k. I'm not a teacher myself but I have been in the classroom and see what they have to put up with. Many teachers work 9 or 10 hour days or more, and teachers are often forced to purchase supplies out of their own pockets.
The school systems wastes huge amounts of money on excessive numbers of overpaid administrators, travel, and dubious consultants. The administration could care less about classroom teachers pay; they just want to pad the pockets of the administrators. I am voting AGAINST the meals tax.

Your exactly right administrators spend freely make more than teachers and generally care less about the classrooms.
Not a teacher either but i know some who put in 50 hours a week.
