WRITE IN CHAP PETERSEN TO REPLACE GERRY CONNOLLY

The re-election of unopposed U.S. Rep. Gerald Connolly is not a foregone conclusion.

Even if it is, our votes can be used to send the message that Fairfax County can do better.

The 11th District certainly deserves better than the opportunity we have been given: re-electing a career politician whose ideals have been unscrupulously bought and compromised by fringe special interests.

I nominate State Senator Chap Petersen.

If you live in Chap's district, you already know that he is the unusual politician who actually connects - honestly - to those he represents.

Chap would make a much better Congressional representative for us than old man Connolly.

Democrat party rules prohibit Chap from running against Connolly, but we can do it for him.

Write in Chap Petersen for Congress in the 11th District on election Day.

Wondering about what is on the ballot this year? As you can see from the Sample Ballot below, it is a lot more than just the Presidential candidates! In addition to voting for a new president, we have congressional candidates on the ballot. There is also more than $300 million in proposed new debt by the county, and nearly $100 million in a new Meals Tax! We also have two amendments to the Virginia constitution to be considered as well. So please review the Sample Ballot below and consider how you will vote before you get to the polls!

OP, thanks much for the recommendation of Chap Petersen! After researching him further, as with any race, almost no candidate is 10/10 perfect, but difficult to accept some of the very liberal positions of key moral issues of Gerry Connolly (those issues already well discussed in this forum).

Another good local politician IMO before he retired, Michael Frey. Met him once at a local charity event for a talked with him for a few minutes of an issue of concern at that time that has since been resolved. Humble guy, living in modest Centreville town home.

Writing in Chap Petersen is a brilliant move. Chap is respected on both sides of the political spectrum, despite some left-leaning views.

But be careful to do this quietly. The day that a write in Chap movement hits WTOP he will be forced to say he is not interested. The Connolly Crime Syndicate reaches very deep around here.

Chap just was just re-elected (again) to his State Senate seat a year ago. He can't hear you. But what a sorry fucking mess the GOP is that it can't find one of its own willing to run against Gerry, and then the dumbest of the dummies thinks a write-in campaign to support a liberal is going to make any difference. Might as well face it, dipshits -- nobody is buying your Trump-tainted kool-aid anymore.

Vote your conscience as I have been told by some I respect in authority. If you do not agree with the liberal positions such as abortion outside of mother's life in danger, then vote 3rd party or write in if no major party is listed representing your moral views. That way you are not endorsing those liberal viees.
